Troubleshooting Common Website Issues

Modified on Wed, 25 Feb at 2:00 PM

If you believe your website is down or not working correctly, please try these simple steps before submitting a support ticket. This can often resolve the issue or help us diagnose the problem faster.

Step 1: Check on a Different Device or Network

  • Try to access your website from a different device (e.g., your mobile phone with Wi-Fi turned off).
  • This helps determine if the issue is with your local computer/network or with the website itself.

Step 2: Clear Your Browser Cache

Sometimes your browser may be storing an old, broken version of your site. Clearing the cache forces it to load the most recent version.

  • Chrome: Go to Settings > Privacy and security > Clear browsing data.
  • Firefox: Go to Options > Privacy & Security > Cookies and Site Data > Clear Data.
  • Safari: Go to Safari > Clear History.

Step 3: Check for Wider Outages

While we monitor our servers 24/7, you can check our hosting partners' status pages for any announced maintenance or outages. (You can link to your hosting provider's status page here if you have one).

Still Having Issues?

If you have tried the steps above and are still experiencing problems, please submit a support ticket with the following information:

  • The URL of the page(s) you are having trouble with.
  • A description of what is happening versus what you expect to happen.
  • A screenshot of the error message or the issue.
